Join us poolside for cocktails, food, and sun at the upscale Brimming Heart nestled within the center of the Goblet.Will your keen eye help you in the district-wide scavenger hunt, or will you defeat your friends and other challengers during the infamous Water Rumble Tournament?Bring your suit and towel โ€” weโ€™ll take care of the rest.

    Water Rumble Tournament

    Do you have what it takes to fell your opponents in a brutal brawl of bashing? Arm yourself with your pool toy of choice and prepare to make a splash when you send your foes plunging into the deep end!

    Live Music

    Dive into the rhythmic music for a splashing good time! Keep calm and swim on as you listening to a hand crafted selection of music throughout the evening that will have you floating away with the end of summer.

    Destination

    ๐”ผ๐”ป๐”พ๐”ผ of Summer will be taking place in the Brimming Heart area of Balmung's Goblet housing district, located within the second ward.Be sure you have access to The Goblet Housing Area before the party!
    To unlock, complete the level 5 quest "Where the Heart Is (Goblet)," picked up from Imme in Horizon (Western Thanalan: x 26, y24).    When entering The Goblet, travel to Ward 2 and proceed to the Brimming Heart. The closest Aetheryte is of the same name.

    Scavenger Hunt

    Calling on the greatest sleuths and in all of Eorzeaโ€”and beyond! Do you have what it takes to track down all our missing items?Big prizes await our fastest collectors, so prepare yourself for a true challenge that only the sharpest of investigators will be able to overcome!

    Scavenger Hunt Rules

    • The game will take place in the main Goblet housing area of Ward 2, not in any of the subdivisions or other wards.

    • Three staff members will hide throughout the housing district. They may not phase into any furniture, decorations, or other environmental objects to ensure they can still be spotted.

    • Guests must track down all three staff members and collect the individual unique item each staff member will trade them upon being found. Once a guest has all three tokens, they may race back to the Brimming Heart to present the tokens to the proctor!

    • The first three guests to return all three tokens will win!

    Will you sink or swim? Choose your weapon and duke it out in the wettest battle royale of the summer! A true test of your reflexes, this battle shall echo in eternity!

    Pool Noodle

    There's nothing quite like being slapped at full force with a foam rod. The friction-resistant coating will surely leave a blistering sting across your opponent's bare flesh.Range: Close
    Limits: Includes ricochet/recoil. Can potentially snap in half.

    Beach Ball

    Channel your inner Blitzball enthusiast! Filled with air and made of colorful vinyl, this fun toy can become a deadly projectile when thrown with excessive force.Range: Close to Mid
    Limits: Must be retrieved after being thrown. Can be popped.

    Aquashock 6.0

    The sixth edition of the Ironworks' Aquashock model, this blaster of a water gun has few rivals. Using a premium handle pump, it will drench your opponent in a deluge of water.Range: Long
    Limits: Refill water after two blasts, negating defense roll.

    Water Rumble Tournament Rules

    • Registration will be open from 8:00 - 9:45 PM EST. Any guests interested in participating must register before then!

    • Contestants may choose one pool toy weapon of choice from the above options and may only fight with this item. No other weapons or forms of magick may be used. Contestants may choose to switch weapons for subsequent matches.

    • The tournament will proceed on an elimination basis in which contestants will move through the bracket until an overall champion is declared.

    • We encourage contestants to roleplay out their combat in /yell!

    • Contestants will be asked to roll /random for initiative. The contestant with the highest number will make the first move.

    • Hits are decided by rolling /random; the first contestant will roll to attack, while their opponent rolls to defend. The match will then proceed vice versa.

    • Contestants require three hits to claim a victory.

    • In order to keep the tournament flowing smoothly, matches are limited to 20 minutes. We recommend keeping posts short and quick! If the time limit is reached, the contestant with the highest score will be declared winner; in the case of a tie, contestants will make one final Sudden Death /random roll to determine the outcome of the match.
